Dr. Ana-Maria Temple, MD, Owner
I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both undergraduate education and medical school - Go Heels!
I completed my residency training at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. I obtained additional training from the Institute for Functional Medicine. I live in Charlotte, NC with my husband, 3 children, and loyal dog.
Anne Poutier, Nurse Practitioner
My name is Anne and I'm the nurse practitioner at Integrative Health Carolinas. I've been working with Dr. Temple since 2019! Before working with Dr. Temple, I worked in hematology and oncology, inpatient pediatrics, family practice and weight loss. Before going into medicine, I got my first degree in nutrition. From my education in nutrition and my previous work experiences, my eyes were open to the importance of fueling our bodies with the right nutrition, sleep and daily activity.
I have 3 young kids, ages 6, 4 and 1. I spend most of my time outside of work keeping up with them and I enjoy a long run to keep my mental health on track. I look forward to being a part of your wellness journey!
Emilee DeGroff , Nurse Practitioner
Hello! My name is Emilee, and I am doctorate-prepared certified pediatric nurse practitioner. I have always been passionate about helping children and started my career in pediatrics in 2017. As a nurse, I worked in the acute care setting on a medical-surgical and step-down intensive care unit. I advanced my career and graduated with my DNP in 2023.
I have a deep passion for caring for children and supporting families through every stage of their wellness journey. Throughout my career, I have seen how powerful it can be to care for the whole child: mind, body, and spirit. I feel it’s important to blend traditional evidence-based care with complementary therapies that nurture balance and promote healing from within. As both a clinician and a mother of two, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges of raising healthy, happy children in today’s world.
Outside of the clinic, I love spending time with my husband and children exploring nature, cooking wholesome meals, and being active together.
Alissa Green, Registered Nurse
Hi! I’m Alissa Green, one of the nurses that works at IHC and I have been working here since 2021. I graduated from VCU School of Nursing and now have been working in pediatric nursing for 17 years. I have worked in the Pediatric ICU, and have been a research coordinator for pediatric oncology, then I worked in school health, and now here at IHC. I have always been interested in health and wellness and completed a program in which I became a board certified nurse coach. To me this is the perfect job and the way medicine should be for everyone!
Shaina Kaelin, Registered Nurse
Hi, I'm Shaina. I am one of the nurses at IHC! I earned my Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Purdue University in 2020 and spent the past few years working as a cardiac nurse before joining IHC in September 2025. I'm passionate about helping others feel their best and supporting them on their path to wellness. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my husband and our dog, and we're thrilled to be expecting our first child in a few months!
Krity Rossi (Health Coach)
Hi, I'm Kristy Rossi, mother of two teen girls, wife, daughter, sister, friend, lover of all things health related! I live in Fort Mill, SC which is just outside of Charlotte. I was born in Buffalo, NY (go Bills) and grew up in Massachusetts (go Red Sox). I am a National Board Certified Health Wellness Coach and Registered Nurse. I love to empower people to take control of their health and well- being, while being respectful of the uniqueness of each individual. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy cooking and baking healthy food. I love Costco!!!! I also love hosting any kind of "themed" party! I am an Orange Theory regular, and I enjoy running and being outside. Last but not least I love to laugh and not take myself too seriously! I look forward to meeting you all.
Kaily Cooke, Patient Coordinator
Hi! I’m Kaily Cooke, a Charlotte native, wife and mom of two. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and spent 14 years in the corporate world until my youngest was faced with some health challenges that led to a career change in 2022. I have been following Dr. Temple for the past few years and am honored to now be working alongside some of Charlotte’s best! I not only love this team and what each person brings to IHC, but I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and getting to know you and your children.
Logan Mendicino (Office Manager)
Hi, I'm Logan, the Office Manager at Integrative Health Carolinas. I hold a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Queens in Charlotte, NC, and bring over 7 years of experience working across a variety of healthcare settings—including long-term care, rehabilitation, labor and delivery, and corporate healthcare.
My passion lies in helping families access compassionate, holistic, and integrative care. After becoming a mother to my now one-year-old daughter, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of whole-person wellness—especially when it comes to caring for growing families.
Outside of work, I love spending weekends in the beautiful North Carolina mountains or enjoying outdoor adventures with my husband and daughter.
Kristina Johnson, Enrollment Specialist
I received my Masters in Forensic Psychology from Nova University. However, upon entering the world of motherhood I found my true passion in holistic healthcare. I love helping people to the best of my ability and chatting with new families about the wonderful village we have here at IHC!
Katie Alost, LDA Coordinator
I Hi! My name is Katie Alost, and I’m excited to be the new LDA Coordinator at IHC! I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in psychology and began my holistic journey after becoming a mom and facing my own health challenges. After spending 4 years as a stay-at-home mom, I’m eager to join this amazing team and connect with other families who share a similar mindset. I live in Charlotte with my husband, our 4-year-old son, and our 1-year-old daughter.
